Step Two:  Fold the end of the wire and circle back, following the form of the first wire.

Crimp the end of the wire and circle back again, stopping approximately two inches before you reach the top of the basic  frame.

Step Three:    Anchor the wire by wrapping it around the two ply basic frame.

Measure out approximately 5-6 inches of wire and form a teepee, bringing the

wire down 4 inches from the first anchor.  Wrap the wire around the two

ply basic frame to make the second anchor. Continue following the form

of the basic frame to the end and fold the wire.

Step Four:  Circle back over the basic frame (which now consists of three strands of wire).

Follow the form of the basic frame, loosely wrapping the three strands of the basic frame with wire. As you reach the “teepee”; continue wrapping up onto the teepee frame.

This process will create the second strand of the teepee frame.

At the top of the teepee, make a drop loop (using the rosary pliers) and continue wrapping down the other side of the teepee.

Continue on, wrapping the basic frame until you reach the end.

Crimp the wire back an inch and cut.

Reinforcing the Basic frame:

Using the 24 gauge wire, begin encasing the basic frame by

wrapping it in a circular pattern.

Remember to keep the wrapping wire somewhat taunt as you wrap the basic frame.

Text Box: HINT: Remember to crimp the cut end of the 24 gauge
wire and wrap OVER the cut end, effectively
eliminating any sharp edges that may scratch the wearer and otherwise get caught up in their hair.

Securely encase the basic frame, moving from one end,

straight across to the other end.

DO NOT WRAP THE TEEPEE.

After you have wrapped to the end of the basic frame,

turn back and wrap the basic frame a SECOND time.

However, this time, securely wrap up and over the teepee,

down onto the basic frame again, and continue wrapping

until you have reached the end.

Cut the wire and tuck it up and secure it under the wrapping wire.

Finish:

After the final wrap, you simply attach a

Rhinestone or Crystal Pendant (your preference) to

the drop loop at the top of the teepee OR for a more

refined, professional finish; you can further

 embellish the basic frame.

Embellish (Decorate) the Reinforced Frame:

Use the 24 gauge wire and the seed beads to add sparkle

to the basic frame.

Cut a 2 ft. length of wire and anchor one end just outside of the first teepee anchor point.

String the seed beads onto the wire.

Wrap the beaded wire around the frame, up and over the teepee.

At the second anchor point for the teepee, wrap the

beaded wire back across and over to the first anchor point.
