I have personally designed many of the pieces in this unique collection. Certain individual pieces have been created utilizing components “rescued” from broken and discarded vintage jewelry. My love for Vintage jewelry ( and thereafter the birth of this diverse collection) can be traced back to my search for just such usable components. However, as an artist and lover of all things beautiful, I found myself unable to “harm” existing, non-damaged, pieces of jewelry simply for the sake of my own creative endeavors. I soon became overwhelmed and buried under a mountain of extraordinary, highly collectable, jewelry. Jewelry for which, it seems, I had now become the caretaker. I formed the Port of Mystery Collection so that I might be better able to preserve, share or otherwise redistribute those antique, vintage and collectable pieces to like minded lovers of this timeless art form.
